oh hai there IJ. Been a long time since I posted. I know, last time I said I'd be bringing characters out and about but that fell through. This time I'm pretty sure I'll have active characters again so I should start posting in here again?

I had two Harry Potter moments today while I was in Oxford:
-The Old Library is where they filmed the Invisibility Cloak sequence apparently from the first film. Plus they use some of the stacks in the library itself for the Hogwarts library, if I'm not mistaken.
-The scene from the first film, again where Dumbledore comes to see Harry in the Hospital Wing. I apparently stood where his bed was. It was fab. My friend and I decided to reenact the moment with our cameras and I was Dumbledore while AJ was Harry (lying rather awkwardly across the benches I must say) and I laughed a lot.
all in all today was good. I need to catch up on rp stuff I know but right now I need to craaaaash. But I had to share my Hogwarts moments XD

Hey guys.
My computer is down because the bulb that lights up the screen burnt out. It's not good. I've been without it since last night, which makes me really sad, but hopefully tomorrow I'll have a monitor to plug into my laptop to continue to use said computer.
I'm also hiatusing for the weekend-- I'm off to Edinburgh from Friday until Monday so if monitor doesn't work well tomorrow, I probably won't be on until Monday evening.

Is there anyone planning on doing NaNoWriMo this year? I've been thinking about doing it, despite how busy I know I'm going to be (but, then again, I managed to do it last year in spite of all the busyness too so...) but I'm pretty sure I'm going to be doing it again this year.
I'm just curious to see who else is going to try it :D

Hey guys. Just an FYI to everyone that my baby is infected. I'm currently backing up stuff right now but in a bit I'm off for the day and tonight/tomorrow my dad's gonna be wiping it clean and then reinstalling everything.

Without turning me emo and/or making me want to take a bath with all my clothes on, point out the obvious or not so obvious trends or fetishes you see in my tastes. Maybe I'm nuts for all vampire stories, or have a thing for men who smoke, or I'm fond of the tsundere archetype, or I'm into rival slash. So hey, I have something to ask you, dear flist of mine. I know Bonnie (goblinking) already made a post and some of us have the same friends but I thought I'd check and see anyone else who might be interested.
Bon and I are going to be working on a Sailor Moon (Real Pbs) set during the Silver Millennium. I just wanna see if there's anyone out there who may be interested in this little venture.
Thus far we have Princess Serenity (Sailor Moon) and Princess Venus (Sailor Venus) taken. I know we're going to be including the Shitennou, the rest pf the Senshi, etc.
If you're not interested, that's totally cool. I just wanted to see if there was anyone else out there who might be intrigued by this :D

Mel's never been more grateful to have Eve and Cal there right now.
She knew Tommy was probably going to end up dead eventually, but that doesn't make it easier for her. She's dreading the time when she'll have to sit down with Neil and tell him his father is dead. It kinda really breaks my heart.
In other news, I'm bringing two more to the Tales 'verse soon. One is Ruth Hunter, the Woodsman (father) from Hansel and Gretel while the other is Isobel Manning (Jane Darling) from Peter Pan :D I'm revamping Isobel and she'll have a different PB but I'm very excited about bringing them both in. I'm going to demand plottage, by the way too XD
OH AND JACOB TOO WHO NEEDS A TALE AND A LAST NAME. There, three characters coming into the Tales, whew.

Here's what you give me:

Here's what I'll give you:
1) a letter of some sort written from character 1 to character 2.
You can choose a love letter, an advice with how to deal with another person, a venting letter about another character, whatever. If you want something written about a third character you will have to name that individual.
Generally when I post meme's, no one responds to them. But I'd really like to have a chance to do so for this one.
Also my heart is currently on the brink of fracturing into tiny pieces. God. Merileth is just...going to make my cry soon. She has choices to make that won't all be happy choices, especially when it comes to matters of her own heart and what she feels she must do that's right. God. I want to hug her and tell her it's going to be okay but I don't know if it will be. Things are set into motion-- I don't even know if she'll live long enough to see the end of the siege on Minas Tirith or even if she'll see Rumil once the fighting is done. Or if her efforts will really help Turgol in the end when he needs to overcome the shadows.
It may be close to breaking my heart but good Lord, I love Realm of Arda. Hands down best LOTR roleplay I've ever joined.

I found a CD I've had for forever before I came back to the dorms. It's a Lifescapes CD, Flute/Harp Duets and last night I put it on my iTunes finally after being here a little over a week. Usually I'm weird and listen to an episode of Grey's Anatomy off my iPod to go to sleep but last night I flipped into my music and turned on the duets and just sat back and listened.
This CD has a lot of writing memory for me. When I write, I write to music playing through the headphones, streaming through and giving me a sense, a feeling, a mood to go by when things happen. This CD is specific to Emily, to the beginning days of when I first create a character for pure amusement to roleplay with online. I had never done it before and I remember being afraid, unsure, and posting really bad quality posts on the threads. But I guess I grew and so did Emily and the music went away.
I could name all the tracks in order by how they sounded and placed them in he sequential order in my mind of what happened to what music. I remember writing Emily sneaking out to Dancing on the Rings of Saturn, of seeing Apollo die to Castles and fighting to Tribal Dance. I could see the images clearly and, even though I set Emily away almost three years ago, it was nice to have her around again, revisiting the music with me while I fell asleep.
